The Olympics As We See It Project
The Olympics As We See It Project, conducted by 5 Ring Circus, involves the production of a
multimedia CD Rom focusing on the Sydney Olympic Games. The intention of this CD, is to
provide schools, community groups, Coucils, sporting organizations and libraries with
information about the Olympics from a Western Sydney perspective. The CD is to contain
information on participants, volunteers, businesses, historical data, cultural events
as well as other aspects of the Olympics as they relate to the 14 Councils in the Western
Sydney region.
In addition to facts and statistics, there will be stories, photos, interviews,
opinions, surveys and news. All of this information will be collected and collated
between now and the the first week of November. We will then take the information
we have processed and create this CD by February of 2001.
As our mission is to provide recognition of the contributions Western Sydney
has made to the Olympics and Paralympics over time, we welcome you to peruse the pages within
this site, and contribute where you can.
